FLORENCE, Ky. —  The first-place Florence Freedom, presented by Titan Mechanical Solutions, return home this Friday, August 11 -13 against the Gateway Grizzlies. Promotions planned for the homestand include the following:

FRIDAY, AUGUST 11 — “BUILD IT” NIGHT AND FIREWORKS (GAME TIME 7:05 PM)

UC Health Stadium will be filled with displays of spectacular LEGO models and building block stations thanks to Ohio-Kentucky-Indiana LEGO User’s Group, allowing fans to use their creativity and build whatever they like. The “Build It” promotion will be held throughout the weekend.

Once again, Elite Pyrotechnics will put on a post-game fireworks show, presented by Arlinghaus Heating and Air Conditioning.

SATURDAY, AUGUST 12 — GAMER NIGHT/BOURBON AND TEQUILA FEST & MORE (6:05 PM)

The Freedom’s annual Gamer Night will feature retro gaming characters for photo opportunities and interactions with fans, who are also encouraged to dress up as their favorite gaming characters.

Build It Night with the OKILUG continues with LEGO displays and play areas around the ballpark. 

The second annual Business Professional Home Run Derby, presented by the NKY Chamber of Commerce, will take place at 4 p.m. Business professionals will compete against each other to be crowned the home run champion of the business community.

The evening also features a Bourbon and Tequila Fest, presented by Boone County Distilling, with quarter-ounce pours available from multiple different bourbon and tequila brands for $2.50 each, or five pours for $10.

For Trucker Appreciation Night, the first 100 people with a Commercial Driver’s License presented at the box office can receive a free ticket, courtesy of rfshires.com. CDL holders can also obtain discounted $8 tickets for their guests.

After the game, the Freedom’s Kerry Toyota Rockin’ Saturday series continues with a concert by local band Doghouse, presented by Hudy Delight. During the concert, kids 12 and under can participate in a game of kickball on the field, supervised by Freedom interns.

SUNDAY, AUGUST 13 — VOLUNTEER APPRECIATION NIGHT AND FREEDOM TRADING CARDS (6:05 PM)

A pre-game parade around the infield honoring local volunteers will be held before the game, and nominations are being accepted for the Freedom Volunteer of the Year award. For the evening, 50% of all ticket sales will benefit participating 501c(3) organizations. More information is available at FlorenceFreedom.com.

Build It Night with the OKILUG continues with LEGO displays and play areas around the ballpark. 

At the gates, a pack of Freedom player trading cards will be given away to the first 1,000 fans.

Sunday home games are also Star 93.3 Family Sundays, presented by Heritage Bank. Kids will have the chance to run the bases after the game, and as the kids come off the field, they will be greeted by the entire Freedom team for a post-game autograph session presented by Cornerstone Lillie Insurance.
