The purpose of the Florence Freedom Booster Club is to show support and enthusiasm for the team, mainly the players themselves. The Booster Club will conduct year-round fundraisers and events. Once off the ground, the Booster Club will operate independently from the baseball organization.

Dues and fundraisers go to benefit the players in the following ways:

-Provide fruit and snack trays before home games

-Provide “get away” snacks prior to team departure for road trips

-Provide small necessary items in the clubhouse

-Help players with any emergency that might occur while away from their families

Scope of boosters’ responsibilities includes:

-Conduct monthly meetings (first Wednesday of each month)

-Help team with pocket schedule distribution

-Man Booster Club booth at each home game and possible community appearances

-Coordinate and distribute team awards

-Develop player and host family welcome packets
