Join us for the Freedom Fantasy League and "Divas on the Diamond"!
The Freedom Fantasy League is the true minor league experience - participants will practice under the lights at Champion Window Field, take the team bus for a two-day road trip to Chillicothe (OH), receive a personalized jersey and more. The first team practice is Friday, April 25th, the team hits the road May 3rd to face the fantasy Chillicothe Paints in a two game series. The whole experience is only $995.00 including transportation and hotel accommodations. “We all have a lot of little boy left in us, and there is no better way to express that than through the game of baseball,” mentioned Freedom Manager Jamie Keefe, “everyone may be a few years older and a step or two slower but when those lights go on you just feel young again.” Women can also get into the baseball spirit with the “Divas on the Diamond” clinic. On May 17th, 2008 women can learn how to keep score, take batting practice, and get all their questions about baseball answered by Freedom players and coaches. Participants also receive a t-shirt, catered lunch and much more for only $50.00. Florence Freedom is a member of the Frontier League, a 12-team Independent Professional Baseball League established in 1993. The Freedom play a 96 game schedule with 50 home games between late May and early September.
