Freedom youth clinics are led by actual Freedom players and coaches. They are designed to be smaller in nature and more specialized in teaching/training your son.
The clinics consist of concentration on one area of the game. There will be a ratio of student to coaches of no less than 4 to 1.
Clinics are offered on most Mondays this summer beginning in mid May, with select Saturdays in August. Please select which area of focus you prefer and sign up at least 1 week in advance of date to adequately staff the clinic.
Saturday August 26th- Hitting- All(grouped by age) 9-11am
Hitting (Academy): proper swing mechanics, generating bat speed, making more contact, bunting techniques.
Defense (UC Health Stadium): proper infield fielding mechanics, footwork, turning double play, throwing skills, handling 1B, catching OF flyballs, proper routes to hit balls, hitting cutoff man.
Pitching (bullpens at stadium): proper windup mechanics, adding velocity, pitching from the stretch, pickoff moves.
Catching (bullpens at stadium): framing pitches, blocking wild pitches, throwing out runners.
In other words, you may choose the date and specialization for the clinic you wish your son/daughter to attend.
It is $40 per player, per clinic. Balance must be paid in full at least 7 days in advance. You may pay online using a major credit card or pay by check. No refunds are provided for Clinics that actually occur. If your son cannot attend a clinic he is registered for (i.e. sick), he may attend another clinic based on availability. Clinics will only be offered if there are at least 3 kids registered. If fewer than 3 kids registered and the Clinic must be canceled, your son may transfer to another Clinic or request a refund.

Unlike our Clinics, our Camps are designed to provide a full half day of fun playing all phases of baseball. Just like our Clinics, actual Freedom players and coaches will lead the 4 hour session.
Freedom Youth Camps are designed for kids 7-12 years of age. Participants will take the field at UC Health Stadium and rotate around various stations each led by Freedom instructors to learn hitting, fielding and pitching. Kids will also play a game on the field and end the day with a pizza party in the Party Patio. Kids will generally participate with other kids similar in age as much as possible. A minimum of 20 kids are needed to conduct each Camp.
