High School Baseball

9th Region Tournament

UC HEALTH STADIUM is the annual host of the 9th Region Tournament, by far the largest regional baseball event in the KHSAA State Tournament.

The 2017 tournament is scheduled for Monday, May 29 - Thursday, June 1.

Ticket Info

Adults - $8

Student & child pricing - $5

Ticket prices are set by the regional school host and all ticket proceeds are split among the 8 participating teams and host school. The Freedom do not profit off the ticket sales for this event. Tickets must be purchased at the Freedom Box Office during the event (no online sales).

It is encouraged for fans to show up early before the game they'd like to attend, as lines can form immediately before start times due to fans all arriving at once. Ticket admission is good for the entire day.

Please note that each club submits a limited pass list per regional rules. Your school based season passes are not accepted during this post season event.

The 9th Region Tourney is by far the most lucrative of the regional tourneys in the State. Easily accommodating crowds of 2,000+ people each day of the tourney, our venue generates considerable revenue for the schools. With our 100% turf field/mound protecting the integrity of the games from inclement weather and complete infrastructure (ample free parking, concessions), our venue is the ideal partner to the 9th Region community.

Regular Season Play

To help prepare for the tourney, local high schools are invited to play 2-3 regular season games at UC Health Stadium.  Games must be scheduled in advance at no charge to either school, though we will charge/retain a $5 gate for all fans.  Schools must provide all equipment (i.e. balls, bats, etc.) and are responsible for umpires scheduling and costs.

Only those schools who schedule such games with us may request to play last minute games threatened by rain.
