2009... In his first season with the Freedom, Pickett became a fixture playing in 95 games in a variety of positions, catcher (68), first base (20), third base (4), designated hitter (4) and pinch hit once. Pickett's powerful bat earned him a team-leading 26 homeruns, 78 RBI and a batting average of .277.

2008... Pickett spent the season playing A ball in the Texas Rangers organization with the Clinton Lumberkings and Spokane Indians. He hit .280 with 5 HR and 34 RBI's in 44 games combined with the two teams.

Career... Pickett enters his fifth season after being drafted by the San Diego Padres in the 22nd round of the 2006 MLB draft. He has played in both the Padres and Rangers organizations for 5 different teams. For his career, Pickett is hitting .261 with 41 HR and 152 RBI in 203 games. 2010 will be his second season in the Frontier League.
